Your 12U Grimsby Coyotes lead by HC Adam Young are your 2024 NDBA Champions. After finishing the season with 2 semi final appearances and 1 championship appearance in their 3 season tourneys, these Coyotes were looking to figure out a way to finally come out on top.
With an extra innings playoff win vs St. Catharines and then a huge 17-4 win vs the Jr. Jackfish, it vaulted this team straight to the Championship game to once again face the Welland Jr. Jackfish in yet another season final.
After training early by five and then again down 6-3 with 2 outs in the 7th, the Coyotes broke loose with 3 in the final inning to send the game into extras where they again piled on 4 more to seal the championship for this team that is unwilling to quit. Congrats to this amazing group of kids and coaching staff on an incredible season!
